Transformation - Advisory
We were engaged by the ownership group, Attain Sports & Entertainment, to review Loudoun United’s sporting operations. We carried out a wide ranging current state assessment of the sporting department including the structure, talent, leadership and processes to arrive at key observations and recommendations aligned with their ambitions. In partnership with the leadership group of Attain Sports & Entertainment, we helped reset Loudoun’s vision, goals and operational roadmap to becoming successful and competitive in the USL Championship.
Engagement
- Conducted 60+ hours of semi-structured interviews across 25 key stakeholders and contributors to Loudoun United including players, as well as in-person visits to observe the training ground environment and culture
- Provided an opportunity for stakeholders to share openly and safely in the pursuit of becoming better, both individually and collectively, contributing to the resetting of the organization’s intentions and expectations
- Delivered an assessment of current state of club and recommendations with focus on leadership and the sporting department
- Created clarity for ownership and leadership on what their next steps should be in alignment with their ambitions for success
- Built confidence in a new organizational structure design as well as staffing quality and budgeting that matched the operational roadmap
